You bring the science, I’ll bring the market.
I’ll let you in on a secret: science wasn’t really my thing in my educational years. I did enjoy biology, but chemistry? Not my forte. I pursued liberal arts instead and eventually arrived at the marketing function. Suddenly, it all fit together. I may not be a scientist, but with my research, analysis, and interpersonal skills, I create a relentless focus on customers and markets and coach cross-functional teams to bring home growth.
I spent a decade with BASF building the marketing function in the architectural coatings, construction, and nonwovens segments in the acrylic value chain. I then moved on to manage the North American super absorbent polymer business and lead the team to restore the business to profitability. Since 2022 I’ve been an independent consultant for clients in the chemical and synbio sectors ranging from Fortune 500 companies, to private equity, to start-ups.
I’m consistently recognized for relentless focus on market and customer needs and grounding business and research goals in that context. If you’re looking for marketing advising, execution, or coaching: let’s talk.
